1999: Two bodies found in the trunk of a burned-out car
No one ever thought a serial killer could haunt Yosemite National Park, but in 1999, the bodies were piling up.
On March 19, police found two burned bodies in the charred skeleton of a rental car. The victims were Carol Sund, 42, and Silvina Pelosso, 16. Pelosso was a friend of Carol’s daughter, Juli, and the three had been hoping to see the natural beauty of Yosemite together.
But Juli was now missing.
